One of England’s most recognisable structures, Blackpool Tower in Blackpool, United Kingdom stands in the center of the country’s most famous seaside resort.
The tower was modelled on France’s Eiffel Tower, and was built in 1894 at a height of 518 feet.
The tower boasts one of the tallest observation decks in England, as well as a circus, a miniature golf course and a branch of Madame Tussaud’s waxworks.
It’s also home to the famous Tower Ballroom, for many years the venue for the popular TV show Come Dancing.
