The Birsa zoological park is commonly referred to as the Birsa Jaivik Udyan. It is an environmentally friendly place and situated near the National highway.
The park has information on mammalian fauna and visitors to the zoo can have a look at nature's wildlife in their own habitat. The most popular species of fauna at this park include monkeys, tigers, and deer. An animal adopting program has also been implemented which will improve public awareness about the importance of wildlife preservation and conservation.
The entire park is spread over 104 acres of land, and there's a host of animals to view. It also has a beautiful Rose garden and an artificial lake inside the zoo which has boating facilities.
