The Batumi Botanical Garden was founded in the year 1912 by Andrew Krasnov, a botanist and geographer. It offers one of the largest selections of flora in the world.
The entire garden is approximately 111 hectares and is located 9 km from the center of Batumi. If you are into exotic plant life, then you're going to love this place. The garden is distinguished by parks that are century-long and has a huge selection of roses, magnolias, pine trees, and Maple tree collections.
The Magnolias are approximately 125 years old, and this place has a scientific library, cozy landscapes, and panoramic views.
